11072014 Amisom Uganda Fpu Medal Ceremony

In a ceremony officiated by AMISOM Deputy Police Commissioner, Commissioner Benson Oyo-Nyeko, the outgoing Formed Police Unit (FPU) personnel from Ugandan were awarded medals and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance during their one-year term of service. The event took place at the Mogadishu Stadium, which is currently the headquarters of the AMISOM Police Unit, and was attended by senior representatives from the Somali Police Force (SPF) as well as AMISOM’s military component.
