ATMAKARAK, KARAKAMSA AND SWAMSA IN JAIMINI ASTROLOGY

આત્મકારક, કરકામ્સા અને સ્વમ્સા - The sign occupied by the Atmakarak in the navamsa chart is the KARAKAMSA lagna. - The Atmakark is the soul and the karakamsa planets indicate the desire of the soul. - The navamsa lagna is called lagnamsa. - Benefics in Karaksma and navamsa lagna and aspected by benefics only, gives Rajayogas to the native. - If the Karaksma (desire of the soul) and navamsa lagna (easily achieved) are the same then the stage is set for self actualization. - If they are in shadastak (6-8 places from each other), then life becomes a bed of roses. - All the others karakas from the bhavas have to be considered in the same manner. - Note: Sanjay Rath states that तत्र has been translated to “second house” in Swamsa, whereas it is “previous stanza”
