Brown who is favorably mentioned in Bahá'í writings.[i] It is a fascinating account of how the Bahá'í Faith was presented in the North America by its early proselytizers. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5 There is a section in Professor Brown’s book Materials for the Study of the Bábí Religion, which is titled II-Ibrahim George Khayru'lláh and the Bahá'í Propaganda in America.[ii] This section deals with Dr. Khayru'lláh (or, Kheiralla) who “reached America in the course of the year 1893, and almost immediately began his propaganda.” Also mentioned is the violent clashed between the two groups that formed, one following `Abbás Efendi, a.k.a. `Abdu'l-Bahá, and the other following his half brother Muhammad `Alí. `Abdu'l-Bahá was a follower of his father Bahá'u'lláh, while Muhammad `Alí was a follower of Bahá'u'lláh’s half brother Mírzá Yahyá, a.k.a. Subh-i-Ezel or Azal (for more on this issue see our article Unity, Equality and Tolerance and The Case of the Traveller, Part 2).
