Data-Driven Programming in XQuery

Data-driven development is a popular programming paradigm often implemented using reflection in object- oriented programming languages. Even if this is less common, data-driven development can also be implemented with functional programming languages, and this paper explores the possibilities opened by higher-order functions in XQuery 3.0 to develop data-driven applications.
