Diarna: Mapping Mizrahi Heritage

The authors discuss Diarna ("our home" in Judeo-Arabic), a new project in which scholars, social entrepreneurs, Google Earth developers and Middle Eastern researchers are collaborating to gather photographs and other multimedia materials from physical locations of former Mizrahi Jewish life, and map it all on Google Earth.
