Dr. Focko Weberling-Botánico alemán-In memoriam

This is a memory in Spanish about life and work of the German botanist Dr. Focko Weberling (1926-2009). He made great progresses in the knowledge of inflorescence and flower structure, and general plant morphology. His best known book is "Morphology of Flowers and Inflorescences" (Cambridge Univ. Press, 405 p.). Among the many countries visited by Dr. Weberling to make botanical research is Costa Rica.
