Imagine a Lap-Top with a rectangular hollow after the touch pad. The hollow is towards the edge to you. Why so? Because the right & left click buttons are part of the mouse shaped as a cuboid that slides out of the hollow and fits perfectly back into the hollow when re-attached. Why so? So when you get tired off touch pad navigation you can detach the mouse and use it.
