Expensive Pedestrian in Jakarta Walking in this city is expensive than driving a car. That was my first impression when I set foot in Jakarta back in 1990s. Today, I have been living in Jakarta for almost two years and yet walking in this city still being the most luxury stuff compared to refuelling my SUV's tank. Poor pedestrian quality compounded by poor air quality have made people, at least from the middle class, wont set an inch of their foot on the so called pedestrian ways. Yet, the City
