Global Warming

Abstract This study investigated on global warming and It’s influence on family living in Eti- Osa local government area Lagos state in Nigeria. This study used a survey research design, the population of the study consist of four thousand five hundred families which was later sampled into four hundred and fifty randomly. The study comprises of four research questions and the mean average score was used to analyze the research questions, data were personally collected with the use of questionnaire, this study was based on the fact that global warming is becoming a threat to mankind, due to the fact that it has brought many problems in families, it has affected our food and water supply, population, agriculture and health, it was observed that without adequate solution to global warming there will be scarcity of our resources, diseases will spread, overpopulation increase and also global warming will affect the family’s income making some families to become more impoverished. In conclusion people are meant to be informed, this is because some of them don’t know the effect of global warming. Therefore it has been recommended that Government should increase the capacity of media art to correspond to the notification of global warming and also the reduction of chlorofluorocarbon and also the reduction of gasoline consumption in Nigeria. This will be helpful and appreciated.
