Meeting notice for Northern Virginia Wahabbi Islamic Saudi Academy training school Dear Supervisor Cook: I wish to congratulate you on your recent election win. I was sure to have mailed my absentee ballot from Baghdad, Iraq in support of you. Having spent the past [almost a year] in Iraq working out of the [xxxxxxxx], I have seen and experienced what it is like to live in a Muslim nation. I have talked with numerous Christians in Iraq, who have faced terrible persecution and are threatened with the possibility of death on a daily basis simply for exercising their faith. Islam is not just a religion, but a hostile political ideology, because of Islamic Shariah law. Shariah law applies not just to Muslims, but to everyone. One of the attributes of Shariah law is the penalty for converting from Islam to another religion is very severe, up to and including death, and women are treated as second class citizens. I strongly encourage you to oppose the expansion of the Islamic Saudi Academy. A school supported by the government of Saudi Arabia, that promotes hatred and intolerance and goes against the Western ideals of freedom and democracy has no place in Fairfax County.
