Mining Meaning in Mania and Depression

This is a proposal for a design research project about the subjective experience of illness in patients suffering with depression. Particularly, this study intends to design tangible tools for patients to better understand and share the details of their unique situation. At the same time, this research aims to inform design practice with the insights arising from such design process.
