SEJARAH RAKYAT 1946 - 1948

FROM MALAYAN UNION TO THE EMERGENCY, 1946 - 1948. This is a most crucial period in the history of Malaya/Malaysia where People's Power and the roots of a 'Bangsa Malaysia' struggle took place. The sad thing is that this period was also literally 'hidden' from the rakyat. Events like the drawing up of the People's Constitution by Putera-Amcja and the Hartal phenomenon are never seen in our history books or exist as just a passing mention. This comic presentation is an abstract from the book 'Where Monsoons Meet' which explains briefly albeit clearly of the events that occurred during that period.
