Essential Materials: 1) Magoosh GRE Prep 2) ETS’s Official Guide to the GRE book If you already own a 1st edition of the Official Guide, don’t feel you have to buy the 2nd edition. The only difference between the two books is that the 2nd edition has an extra practice test at the very back. If you run out of practice tests, then you might want to pick up the 2nd edition even if you already own the 1st. 3) ETS’s PowerPrep Software (If you would prefer to take the practice test on paper, you can print out ETS’s practice test PDF (with video explanations here).
