However, the text takes into account in the first place the greater part of the artist’s opus, and secondly, offers an analysis, i.e. interpretation, based on the dominant traits of the artist’s work. These dominant traits, along with the situation of the artist in the period in which Igor Stepančić is working, point to an orientation in his work, specifically the work done just after the days of his early youth, and before the long caesura in his artistic work, which could be called “Postmodern Mannerism”.........
